Matt, a Partner at Shrader & Associates, has dedicated his career to fighting companies responsible for injuring his clients by exposing them to toxic substances. He spends the majority of his practice representing victims of mesothelioma, an incurable form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Matt has served as lead counsel in many mesothelioma cases that have resulted in multi-million dollar outcomes for his clients and their families. Working tirelessly to develop his clients cases, he personally meets with his clients and fact witnesses in order to ascertain the sources of exposure and identify the responsible parties. He has represented clients in almost every State and and has experience in handling cases involving many different types of exposures from the initial meeting until final resolution. His work has earned him numerous honors, including; –Selected by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star, –Twice named to the National Trial Lawyers. “Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers” list, –Named a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer” by the National Trial Lawyers, –Invited to speak to the National AAJ convention’s Asbestos Litigation Group. Matt is active in several professional organizations that work to ensure his clients’ access to the courts remains intact, including the American Associate for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association . He is a member of the the State Bar of Texas and is regularly admitted to practice in other states on a case by case basis. Matt has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
